Minecraft Structure & Seed Finder

Find candidate coordinates for strongholds and other structures from a seed to speed up server world planning.

Find structures

Estimate where strongholds, buried treasure, witch huts, and desert pyramids may generate from your world seed. Results are approximate — verify in-game before long journeys.

Coordinates are planning estimates. Stronghold rings follow common 1.18+ layout rules; buried treasure and surface structures use simplified chunk formulas. Always confirm locations in your exact version and seed before committing to survival travel.

Minecraft Structure & Seed Finder guide

Find approximate Minecraft structure coordinates from a world seed — including stronghold rings and other common candidates — to speed up server world planning, events, and exploration guides.

Coordinates for admins and builders

Public servers often need strongholds for end-game routes, monuments for events, or treasure locations for quests. Searching by hand in Spectator mode takes time. This finder estimates candidate positions from a seed and lists distance from a center point you choose.

Copy coordinates into your staff notes, WorldEdit //tp targets, or dynmap markers after you confirm them in the real world.

Strongholds and other structure types

Stronghold placement follows ring patterns that this tool approximates for planning. Other structure types use practical chunk formulas suited to server prep, not speedrunning leaderboard precision.

Pick your Minecraft version when available, set a search radius, and review the table of results. Always verify in your exact server jar before promising players a location.

Use with seed maps and datapacks

Start with the seed map for biome context, then run the structure finder for coordinates. Datapacks that add or move structures will not match vanilla estimates — regenerate or explore those packs in-game.

For adventure maps, generate candidates on a creative test world with the same seed and version as production before you script teleports.

Common questions

Why are coordinates approximate?
Structure rules change between versions. This tool uses practical estimates for server planning, not perfect speedrunning utilities.
Do I need the same seed as the live world?
Yes. Use the exact seed and a matching game version whenever you can, then confirm important spots in-game.
Can this find every structure type?
It covers common planning targets such as stronghold rings and selected structure candidates. Exotic or datapack structures need in-game checks.
